BRAIDED MESH – WHERE DO I FIND MY APPLICATION?

1. FENCES OF PRIVATE PREMISES

The fence is one of the most significant elements of our property, so it is worth thinking carefully about what it is supposed to look like already at the construction stage.

We have two basic types of grids to choose from are galvanized (silver) or galvanized and coated (green, bronze, graphite black). I assume that galvanized meshes are characterized by higher rigidity and mechanical resistance, while coated meshes are certainly more aesthetic and easier to adapt to the appearance of the façade of our building.

As standard, we use 1.5 m high nets for residential fences. Currently, the most popular solution for the target fence of residential buildings is braided mesh made on a concrete wall with a height of 25 cm. This solution is not only aesthetic, but also works great for owners of four-legged friends. The concrete wall perfectly prevents dogs from being undermined under the fence and their uncontrolled escapes.

When it comes to recreational plots, the green-coated mesh is the most popular, which perfectly matches the plantings on the property. The 2/3.1 wire diameter coated mesh is also one of the most economical fencing solutions, making it even more popular with customers.

2. INDUSTRIAL FENCING – COMPANIES, WAREHOUSES

When choosing nets for industrial property fences, the most important factor is the strength and rigidity of such a fence. The main task of such a grid is to create a barrier that will ensure the safety of the property and the health of those working on the premises.

The best solution in terms of price-quality ratio is a mesh made of 3.0 mm fi wire with 65 or 55 mm meshes.

When threatening the sites of companies, great importance is also attached to the height of such a fence. Here, compared to the fences of private premises, there is a tendency to use nets with heights from 1.7 m to 2 m.

3. PLAYGROUNDS AND GARDEN PLOTS

Playgrounds and garden plots are characteristic in terms of the choice of fences when it comes to height. In the case of all-land gardens, in many associations there is a formal prohibition on the installation of nets above 1 m in height. The cannons mainly opt for 2/3.1 coated green fences. Such a solution allows to match their fence to the already made fences of neighbors, and is also economical enough that I will not ruin the budget of our investor.

In relation to playgrounds, the situation is more complex. Both grids from 1m to 1.5m high work here. They are usually also pvc coated nets of green color, sometimes also graphite. The most important issue is to meet the requirements of the tender specifications or the requirements of the municipality, city or other local government unit. The greatest importance when installing nets on such facilities is to ensure the safety of children using the facility, by eliminating or securing all protruding ends in the fence line.

4. SPORTS FACILITIES

Grids intended for sports facilities are primarily green coated nets with a wire diameter of fi 2.5/3.6. Characteristic of these investments is the height of such a fence. In most cases, these fences reach 4 m (typical multi-purpose courts), and sometimes even 6 m (in the case of tennis courts). In the implementation of such facilities, it is also extremely important to adjust the mesh size to the sport in question. The smaller the mesh, the greater the stiffness of such a mesh, which affects its impact resistance. In the case of sports such as tennis, this is also of great importance, because with too much eye, the ball can get to the other side of the fence. It is also important that the fence is carried out in accordance with the material specification, since it is the basis for the reception of such a facility.

5. AGRICULTURAL CROPS AND FARMS

In the case of agri-breeding fences, the nature of breeding must be taken into account in particular. The diameter of the wire and the mesh compaction must be adapted to the risks that may occur in the industry.

When fencing orchards and crops, it is important, first of all, to compact the net especially at the bottom of the fence. Due to the large areas and the significant cost of such a fence, in addition to typical braided nets, compacted forest nets are very often used. If the investor decides to fence with a braided mesh, it is usually a mesh with a height of 1.5 m with a wire diameter of fi 2.5 m and a mesh of 65 x 65 mm.

In the case of animal husbandry, the choice is no longer so clear. Of course, uncoated netting is also more common, while the height and diameter of the wire are adapted to the nature of the animals bred. Often there are heights of about 2 m. Also, the diameter of the wire is clearly thicker and oscillates around 3 mm.
